I had mine lost to customs a few months back. It was a never ending battle with them with everything. Someone I feel did the paperwork wrong and never followed up on any of my stuff. By the time I figured out what was going on, it was already been auctioned off. You guys really need to seriously be careful of who you deal with in this situations. I think I got it pretty good. Lost a pretty expensive R34 + money paid to the guys that helped bring it in which I seriously think he slacked on big time with following up and paperwork.Be smart, do your homework. I wonder if this guys car was one of the ones from SoCal ?

Seized and Sold Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
This came from the Freshalloy Forums.
R33's in fact like the one in the picture if met to the US standards are the only skylines that can be imported to the US. because they were teh only ones to be publicly tested to meet the standards. us denied attempts to test teh R34's which is a shame because im trying to buy one at the moment from japan.
ReplyDeleteI worked at Motorex, when they did the original certification for the Nissan Skyline GT-R in 1999.
ReplyDeleteThere are some R34 GT-R's in the US. There are also some Kaizo R34's that are available. If you search on here, or my other blog you will find some information.
